With almost 600 children in grades K-9, the school is stretched in every direction.
MAINTENANCE
The school requires ongoing maintenance.
We replaced the pump to the well recently. The school cannot be open if there is not a working water supply.
Many floors had severe cracks in them necessitating complete replacement.

PERSONNEL
We are thankful for our dedicated staff.
Sonile continues as the head teacher. In Zambia, this position is somewhat the same as principal in U.S. schools, however she also teaches. Sonile is a very soft-spoken and kind teacher. She has the hearts of those who work with her.

Moses Sinyangwe - Teacher |
Brian - Store Room |
When we converted two large classrooms to a computer room (with 30 computers) and a science lab, the former computer room (10 computers) became the room to store important equipment for the science lab and some computer equipment. The former computer room had a very secure door on it, which is needed for the equipment.
Brian is the man that makes sure that all of the equipment is accounted for. Anything that is used for the classroom is checked out and returned with Brian keeping track of it all.
And we have new baby chicks. These are only two weeks old! This ongoing project reaches the community and feeds children. To support the Chicken Project, DONATE HERE.
